Appendix A : Phase 1 Schedule

Phase 1 of the consultation process was carried out in two stages:

Stage 1 - Research Design

• Define the objectives and scope (identify aims and constraints)
  
• Estimate the value of the information which will be produced from this consultation phase
  
• Identify key user groups and sample selection criteria
  
• Determine data collection methods
  
• Determine methods of analysis
  
• Plan schedule for implementation of research

Stage 2 - Implementation

• Select sample
• Design questionnaire(s) and accompanying material
• Design data collection system
• Produce questionnaires (print, compile email format, create WWW forms)
• Distribute material
• Collate Material
• Analyse Data
• Report on findings
